Balancing exceptional power with user comfort, EGO’s Lithium ion BAX1300 backpack is ergonomically designed to keep you working all day long. The battery pack can be removed from the harness* allowing the battery to be shared amongst multiple users, each with their own harness. To ensure optimum performance, efficiency and longevity, these high energy capacity batteries incorporate intelligent individual cell monitoring and balancing, both when it’s powering a tool and when it’s recharging.
The backpack battery that works as hard as you do. Work healthier without strains, musculoskeletal problems or emissions. Compatible with all EGO Power+ tools, and as the battery is on the harness and not on the tool, the tools are even lighter and easier to use.
On a single charge (depending on the model of tool you’re using), you can mow up to 1900sqm, use a line trimmer for up to 340 minutes, trim hedges for up to 360 minutes, saw for up to 720 cuts or leaf blow up to 480 minutes. The possibilities are endless with a fast charge of 80 minutes. The innovative arc shape combats overheating, maximising run time to keep you going for longer.
From the lightest 2.5Ah to the largest 12Ah in the range, as the batteries go up in size, so does the power capacity and run time. Whichever model you choose, they have all been engineered for optimal performance and designed to fit all EGO tools
There is no other battery like the Cordless EGO’s Power+Arc Lithium 56v battery. Unlike conventional brick shaped batteries that can overheat and lose power, our unique Arc design dissipates heat more effectively.
All new EGO batteries from 2020 will have a gauge indicating the remaining battery capacity. Each segment represents 20% charge meaning that users can now plan their work based on the charge required to finish the task.
